Missions
We are currently involved in the following mission projects:
HAITI RELIEF : CASH OR CHECK DONATIONS THAT GO TO United Methodist Committee on Relief
to help in the rescue, feeding and medical care, housing, etc. for the victims of the earthquake.
Also: personal care kits that consist of a gallon Ziploc bag with the following items:
1 hand towel (15"X25", up to 17"X27"), 1 washcloth, 1 large, sturdy comb,
1 nail file or fingernail clippers (no emery boards or toenail clippers)
1 bath-size bar of soap (3 oz. and up), 1 toothbrush (single, only in original wrapper)
1 large tube of toothpaste (4.5 oz. or larger - exp. date of at least 6 months
6 adhesive plastic strip sterile bandages (bandaids)
$1.00 for each kit to assist with shipping charges. All of this should be sealed in the gallon bag.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE ITEMS MUST BE EXACTLY AS SPECIFIED,
OR THE BAG CANNOT BE SENT!!
United Methodist Children's Home: toiletries and prepackaged snacks suitable for breakfastand/or snacks
Travel food bags for homeless: gallon ZipLoc bags, cracker packets, individual pull-top cans of meat (vienna sausage,
tuna, etc.) individual packets of cookies, bottled water
